Our history

1982

N.C.H. SpA (NCH) is founded in Bologna with a focus on Transaction Banking.
T.A.S. SpA (TAS) is founded in Rome with a focus on Capital Markets.

2000

TAS is listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.
In the same year it acquires the French company Atsat (renamed TAS France).

2005

NCH acquires the majority share of TAS with the creation of TASNCH Holding SpA.

2006

TAS receives NCH’s operating divisions and equity investments in DS Taxi, DS Supporti Direzionale e Strategici and DS Finance. Presence in the Spanish market is strengthened with the acquisition of RT Spain (renamed TAS Iberia).

2007

Majority share y of TAS is sold by the parent company NCH to Audley Capital Management Limited, a private equity fund.

2009

A new Brazilian company, TASamericas, is created and subsequently renamed TAS Brasil, which becomes a SWIFT Regional partner for Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.

2013

TAS USA is founded with headquarters in New York.

2016

Audley Capital exits the shareholder structure. TASNCH Holding SpA becomes OWL Spa, holding the majority share of TAS, following a management buy-out operation by Dario Pardi and Valentino Bravi who plan to expand the group into new markets and geographical areas.

TAS Germany is founded with headquarters in Munich.

2017

TAS France inaugurates a new Tier4 Datacenter, to deliver mission critical applications in the financial sector with PCI-DSS, ISO 9001-2015 and 27001 certifications.

2019

TAS acquires Arsblue Serbia (renamed TAS Eastern Europe) to foster international growth in Eastern Europe.
TAS acquires Mantica and creates a competence centre for Machine Learning applied to Fraud Management.

2020

TAS acquires Infraxis, a leader in the Swiss and German card processing software markets, with offices in Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

2021

TAS acquires Elidata, a company active in the development of trading and order routing applications for financial markets, with Italian and International customers.

2022

Private Equity Fund Rivean Capital becomes the majority shareholder. TAS shares are delisted from the stock exchange.
TAS acquires ASTRO-IT, Krisopea and Nemos, three Italian companies engaged in software development of payments and finance applications.

2023

TAS acquires Mitobit and Newsoft, Italian companies engaged in software development of payments and finance applications. TPPay is founded, an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) of the TAS group regulated by the Bank of Italy, specialized in the issuance, management, and distribution of electronic money.

Our group is made up of the parent company TAS S.p.A. – indirectly controlled by the Private Equity fund Rivean Capital – and by its subsidiaries EliData S.p.A, TPPay Srl with sole shareholder and TAS International SA. The latter in turn controls the companies TAS France SASU, TAS Iberia S.L.U., TAS Germany GmbH, TAS Eastern Europe d.o.o, Infraxis Ltd, TAS Brasil LTDA and TAS USA Inc.
